» American HealthTech has launched comprehensive ICD-10 educational and support resources, available to its customer base via its MyHealthTech portal. Resources include an ICD-10 training schedule, webinar series, monthly e-newsletter, spotlight website and personal support services, plus setting up meetings with customers.
» Medline Industries has acquired Professional Hospital Supply. PHS was a medical and surgical supply distributer, and will continue to operate in Temecula, CA, under the PHS name as a Medline subsidiary. No financial terms of the deal were disclosed.
» The Corridor Group has acquired Daymarck, a medical coding and OASIS review services company for post-acute providers. The acquisition “strengthens TCG’s education and consulting solutions related to ICD-10,” the company said.
» Caremerge LLC has announced a partnership with Lively. The latter uses passive sensors in household objects to measure daily activity levels and can automatically notify family members or loved ones when something is wrong. Activity data from Lively sensors will be combined with the clinical and social activity captured within Caremerge’s platform, the company said.
» PillPack, a pharmacy company in 31 states, announced in February it raised $4 million from Atlas Venture, Founder Collective. The company initially focused on the 30 million Americans who take more than five medications daily. As part of the financing, Destin and David Frankel of Founder Collective joined the PillPack board.
» OnShift closed $7 million in Series C financing, the company said in February. New investor HLM Venture Partners led the round of financing.
» Adventist Health System selected HealthMEDX for its 15 long-term care centers, the company said. This “will benefit our patients, communities and employees by advancing quality of care and improving the patient experience,” said Adventist CEO Michele Givens.
