A session titled “Strategies to protect and connect residents, families and care teams in senior living communities,” will be the middle of three sessions at the fifth annual McKnight’s Senior Living Online Expo on June 17.

The session, which begins at 12:30 p.m. ET, will highlight how cognitive overload and burnout affects the well-being of both residents and care teams. Speaker Rhonda Collins, chief nursing officer of Vocera Communications, will share solutions that can remove hassles, restore human connections and increase safety and health justice for residents, families and frontline workers.

Additional sessions during the McKnight’s Senior Living Online Expo will cover electronic health records technology and falls prevention. Attendees will have the opportunity to earn up to three continuing education credits.

The virtual doors to the free online event will open at 10:30 a.m. ET, providing attendees with the chance to network with peers and visit the online exhibition hall featuring products and services from companies serving the senior living profession. Webinar attendees also will be able to visit the booths before and after the CE sessions.
