PointClickCare has completed its acquisition of Accu-Med Services. Accu‐Med delivers integrated financial and clinical software solutions for long-term care providers. In addition to their core clinical and financial applications, Accu-Med provides therapy management software to contract therapy organizations serving long-term care and an MDS-based quality, outcomes and performance measurement system. “The synergies between our two companies made this acquisition opportunity very compelling,” said Mike Wessinger, CEO of PointClickCare. PointClickCare also hosted a customer conference this week in Orlando, FL. Approximately 700 customers attended the second annual event Sunday through Tuesday, which featured interactive educational sessions, panel discussions, and networking events.
