The nomination window for McKnight’s Pinnacle Awards for long-term care veterans is just a week away. The program honors industry professionals who have had a long-time impact on the sector.

Top leaders and performers in skilled nursing, senior living and home care are eligible in several divisions, including “Skilled Nursing-Nonprofit” and “Skilled Nursing-For-Profit.” Business partners and “allies” of the industry also will be recognized. Nominees should have a career of 20 years or longer.

Colleagues, bosses, mentors, managers, friends and other worthy individuals are expected to be among the inaugural nomination class. An impartial, national panel of judges will assess the entries.

The 2022 McKnight’s Pinnacle Awards “regular” nomination deadline is Oct. 20; a late-filer deadline is Oct. 27.

The five main categories, which will recognize multiple winners in each, are:

•  Setting the Standard Award

•  Agent of Change Award

•  Inspiration Award

•  Thought Leader Award

•  Unsung Hero Award

The 2023 McKnight’s Pinnacle Awards also will bestow a Career Achievement Award winner chosen by event organizers.

Finalists will be announced Dec. 1 and a grand in-person reception and awards ceremony will take place in early March.
