The National Investment Center for Seniors Housing & Care (NIC) plans to host its first in-person conference since the start of the pandemic when it convenes operators, lenders and investors in Houston.

The three-day event starts Monday, Nov. 1 and will feature such notable speakers as economist and New York Times columnist Paul Krugman and former U.S Treasury Secretary Lawrence H. Summers. In a typical year, session attracts hundreds of skilled nursing and seniors housing stakeholders.

The deal-maker’s conference will take place at the Marriott Marquis Houston through Nov. 3. All attendees must provide proof of vaccination as part of the registration process. Those who cannot attend in-person also have an online option for 2021.
