3 national long-term care meetings on tap

A trio of national annual meetings for long-term care stakeholders will take place in the week ahead, and luckily for those wanting to attend, they’ll all be at the same location. The American Health Care Association and its companion group, the National Center for Assisted Living, will hold its 65th annual convention in Sunday through Wednesday in Washington, D.C. In conjunction with those two groups’ meetings, the National Association for the Support of Long Term Care will be hold its 25th annual meeting Sunday through Tuesday, also at the Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center at National Harbor in the District of Columbia.

64th annual AHCA/NCAL show heads to Phoenix

Long-term care operators and top managers will be making their way to Phoenix this weekend through Wednesday to attend the 64th annual AHCA/NCAL exhibition and expo. Hosted by the largest nursing home association in the country, the AHCA show will feature dozens of opportunities to earn continuing education credit through educational sessions; top keynote speakers; and an expansive exhibit hall that opens for a total of six and a half hours Monday and Tuesday.

Webinar focuses on achieving improvement goals

Long-term care providers looking to set and achieve quantifiable improvement goals, unique to their organization, are invited to attend a webinar hosted by the American Health Care Association at 2:00 p.m. EDT on Aug. 26. These goals should help attract new healthcare-savvy residents.

National assisted living provider conference kicks off Tuesday

The National Center for Assisted Living opens its annual spring conference Tuesday at the Westin Beach Resort in Fort Lauderdale, FL. An “intense, in-depth learning experience” that will focus on “the customer experience,” according to organizers, the two-day conference promises to teach processes that will “improve your reputation, and increase revenues.”
