» LTC ACO, Genesis Healthcare’s accountable care organization, announced a partnership with skilled nursing, long-term and rehabilitation provider Senior Living Properties in late January. The partnership will allow select physicians with Senior Living Properties, who serve long-term care residents, to participate in the Medicare Shared Savings Program through LTC ACO.  

» National real estate lender Greystone provided a $71.3 million HUD-insured loan to refinance a 320-bed skilled nursing facility in Long Island, NY. The deal with Massapequa Center Rehabilitation & Nursing was announced in late January. The refinancing agreement will allow the facility to continue large-scale renovations and exit an initial bridge financing that was used for a November 2017 purchase. 

» Cambridge Realty Capital, a senior housing and healthcare capital provider, provided two HUD Lean loans to refinance two mixed-use skilled care and assisted living facilities in Ohio in January. The loans total $24 million. The facilities have a total of 257 beds and feature private and shared living accommodations.
