Nebraska — Azria Health announced it’s closing four nursing homes in Nebraska due to poor financial performance.
The nursing homes were set to close by the end of November. The closures will impact 240 employees and 205 state-licensed beds.
The Nebraska Health Care Association said the closings “follow an unfortunate trend in (the) state” and the issue stems from funding issues from the state’s Medicaid program.
The organization also noted that 15 nursing facilities in the state closed earlier this year.
