James McKnight, CEO of the Brentwood, TN, company, noted in November that DHS has been subject to unresolved allegations that they violated the False Claims Act. The accusations, some dating to 2010, relate to therapy practices, as well as preadmission evaluation forms required by Tennessee’s Medicaid program. Diversicare has 76 nursing centers, many in high-liability areas.
