» Brookdale Senior Living sold three continuing care retirement communities to Frontline Management. The deal involved properties in Arizona, Ohio and South Carolina. They have a total of 782 units across skilled nursing, memory care, assisted living and independent living. The transaction was a joint effort between Frontline and Onelife Investments. The purchase price was not disclosed. 

»Denver startup Nymbl raised $1.55 million in its latest funding round, led by Rockies Venture Club. The company’s smartphone solution delivers personalized balance training to help reduce fall risks among seniors who live in care facilities or at home. Through the Nymbl Training app, users follow mental and physical exercises to improve balance. The company sells directly to senior facilities and insurance providers.

» The American College of Health Care Administrators is creating its own hall of fame. The recognition will honor those who have made significant contributions to the organization over an extended period, or those who made a unique and lasting contribution. Up to four candidates will be elected each year.
