Shelby Bryan, a co-founder of Vodafone, has joined Element3 Health as an advisor and investor.

The company features a network that engages 50-plus adults to increase their physical, social and mental activity for healthy aging.

“Element3 Health is one of the most exciting and innovative companies in healthcare,” says Bryan. “They are addressing social isolation and loneliness in seniors with one of the only scalable business models that can address this national epidemic that is costing the U.S. over $75 billion.”

Bryan, a senior executive with more than three decades of experience, served as president of Millicom from 1981 to 1994, during which he grew the company to having a market value of more than $8 billion. A co-founder of Vodafone, in the mid-90s, he took over as CEO of ICG Communications and grew it from $78 million to over $800 million in revenue.

He completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Texas and an MBA at Harvard University.
