Jeff Branch, President and CEO of Lutheran Social Ministries of Maryland, the parent organization of non-profit life plan communities Carroll Lutheran Village and The Lutheran Village at Miller’s Grant.

The Lutheran Social Ministries of Maryland Board of Trustees officially announced Jeff Branch as its president and CEO. He succeeds Geary Milliken, who retired in June after nearly 25 years of service. 

The provider is the newly formed parent organization of continuing care retirement communities Carroll Lutheran Village in Westminster, MD, and The Lutheran Village at Miller’s Grant in Ellicott City, MD.

Branch was previously the Senior Vice President of Senior Living and the Institute on Aging for Mather LifeWays in Evanston, IL. He also has worked as vice president of operations for Sunrise Senior Living, where he was responsible for the day-to-day operations of 37 senior living communities with 5,500 residents and 4,800 employees. Branch also worked as an operations manager at INOVA Health System in Fairfax, VA.

He completed his bachelor’s degree at Radford University and his master’s degree at Virginia Tech. He also completed certificate programs at New York University and Shenandoah University.
