Progressive long-term care providers with a particular eye toward health information technology are gearing up for the Collaborative Care & Health IT Innovations Summit. The event, which addresses technology integration into long-term post-acute care systems, as well as pre-acute settings, takes place June 23-25 in Baltimore.

Keynote speakers include Mark McClellan, M.D., Ph.D., Director of the Duke-Robert J. Margolis, Center for Health Policy at Duke University, and Steven Posnack, MS, MHS, executive director of the Office of Technology, Office of the National Coordinator of Health IT (ONC)  .

The Summit is convened by LeadingAge CAST and will continue to focus on bringing LTPAC providers together with acute-care providers, payers, health IT vendors, health information exchange intermediaries, consultants, system integrators and solution providers to discuss how technology is connecting the healthcare ecosystem in the era of health and payment reforms.
