Providers drawing attention to their importance in the community, bidding for lawmaker visits

If providers have their way, they’ll be welcoming untold numbers of guests and dignitaries into their facilities in the coming days. The LeadingAge national Homecoming Week starts Sunday and extends through the following Saturday. Providers are urged to remind there are leaders and other members of their important role in the fabric of the community. This includes as a caregiver, employer and steady presence. This year’s theme is “Inspire, Serve, Advocate.” Various services, art exhibits, open houses and other entertaining events will take place around the country.
