The largest U.S. nursing home association will hold its annual issues briefing and lobbying blitz Jun 6-7 in the nation’s capital.
Sessions for the American Health Care Association / National Center for Assisted Living Congressional Briefing will take place at the Hyatt Regency Capitol Hill, in addition to members’ visits to lawmakers’ offices.
The keynote speaker will be Major Garrett, CBS News’ Chief Washington correspondent and columnist-at-large for the National Journal. He has covered national issues for three decades and served as White House correspondent for three television networks.
AHCA/NCAL leaders urge members to “come to Washington, D.C. this June, and ask for what you need and want.” Attendees will receive legislative updates from association President and CEO Mark Parkinson as well as Senior Vice President of Government Relations Clifton Porter.
