Final preparations are nearing for the 2024 ACHCA Convocation and Expo, which will be held May 6-9 in Myrtle Beach, SC.

More than 300 administrators, executives, and other leaders in post‐acute care and aging services are expected to gather to network, learn, and celebrate award winners.

Denise Boudreau will deliver the keynote address, “Leading and Living Through Your Values,” on Tuesday, May 7. The presentation will focus on practical strategies to implement immediately. A former nursing home and assisted living administrator, as the president of Drive, Boudreau helps organizations improve the staff and customer experience, and the bottom line, through more engaged leaders and employees.

Conference attendees will have the opportunity to earn 22 NAB-approved continuing education credits. Education topics will focus on resident-centered care, human resources, finance, environment, leadership, management, assisted living, diversity, workforce development, legal liability mitigation, and mentoring, among other topics.

A pre‐conference education program will take place May 6 and focus on “The 30‐Day Leadership Challenge.” This customized workshop will focus on giving the leaders of ACHCA the motivation and knowledge they need to support their desired culture.

The conference also will include ACHCA’s annual poster exposition, award ceremonies, recognition of Hall of Fame inductees, and social activities that will allow professional networking and peer‐to‐peer learning.

An exhibition area also will allow attendees to visit some of the leading product and service companies in the sector.

“In the post-pandemic world, our profession is confronted by new challenges while battling long-standing issues like staffing, and is evolving to address opportunities presented by them,” ACHCA president and CEO Bob Lane said. “Our educational program is once again geared toward equipping our attendees with information and skills to become better administrators and leaders in a fun, encouraging environment.”
