Nursing home operators can get a look at their newly updated quality ratings in the federal government database starting Tuesday. Operators can access their facility’s individualized report from the Minimum Data Set State Welcome pages on the state servers used for MDS data submission.

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services help line will reopen Tuesday and remain open until Feb. 3 to field any questions or concerns about Five-Star ratings. The hotline is reopened quarterly and is available at a number sent directly to providers previously. Providers also can pose their questions through [email protected].

The new Five-Star ratings will be made public Jan. 28, when they will be unveiled on CMS’s “Nursing Home Compare” Web site.
