Some of the sharpest legal minds and other major stakeholders in long-term care are gathering Feb. 25-27 for the “Long Term Care and the Law” conference in Austin. McKnight’s Editor James M. Berklan will deliver the keynote address at Monday’s opening general session, which will be followed by a panel discussion on ZPICs featuring leaders from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services. Case law, care transitions, payment issues, information technology and dozens of other hot topics will be the focus of educational sessions. Attorneys, providers and other professionals are invited to the event, which will be held at the Hilton Austin.
