ASHHRA conference starts Sunday

Healthcare human resources professionals and partners can connect with their colleagues and vendors during the American Society for Healthcare Human Resources Administration 54^th Annual Conference & Exposition. The conference will be held at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center in Pittsburgh starting on Sunday.

The opening keynote, “Open Data, IT and Value-Based Payment: The (Bipartisan) Approach to Health Care Delivery Reform” will be given by Aneesh Chopra, former (and first) U.S. Chief Technology Officer. Learning sessions range from “When You Can’t Ask: How to Deal with Salary Negotiations” to “The New Face of Labor – How Unions are Using the Janus Decision to Reinvigorate Organizing Campaigns,” as well as programs that tackles sexual harassment, recruiting and employment drug testing.

The exhibit hall includes vendors such as LTC Staff Inc., Healthcare Source, Zip Recruiter and BlackRock. The conference runs until Sept. 18.
