A reason to pause and remember, in long-term care and beyond

McKnight’s Long-Term Care News would like to wish all of its readers a reflective, healthy Memorial Day weekend. 

For many, it may be a long weekend, with an extra day off of work. Long-term care, of course, is a 24/7/365 gig that never takes a day off. Separate honors go to all who keep it running.

Whether or not you get an extra break this weekend, we hope you have time to pause and remember those who have served in the U.S. armed forces and given the ultimate sacrifice. We also give thanks to all veterans for their service, many of whom, we must remember, reside in nursing and other long-term care facilities around the country..
