There’s just a little more than a month until the 6th Annual McKnight’s Women of Distinction awards ceremony and forum take place. Tickets are on sale to the public and expected to sell out so organizers are urging prompt reservations.
The 2024 WOD banquet and educational forum will take place May 14 at the JW Marriott Hotel in downtown Chicago. Full details and a winners gallery can be found at the event website.
Lynn Hood, the president and CEO of Principle LTC, will be honored as the Lifetime Achievement Award winner.
Also being recognized are 15 Rising Stars, 16 Veteran VIPs, 24 Hall of Honor inductees and four Spirit Award honorees, spanning all levels of career experience.
On May 14, an afternoon forum will take place from 1-4:30 p.m. and comprise two panel discussions delving into career development and strategy issues. The cocktail hour and banquet will follow from 6-9 p.m.
All interested long-term care stakeholders — male and female — are welcome to attend all events, along with friends and family members. The gala will include presentation of the awards, a photo booth, networking opportunities and more.
Some 60 top women professionals are being honored this year. Winners were determined by a national, independent panel of judges.
