Physician staffing firm TeamHealth is aiming to acquire post-acute physician groups in 2016 following its purchase of IPC Healthcare Inc.
The majority of 2016 will be spent integrating IPC into the company, enhancing its financial performance and strengthening its post-acute assets, TeamHealth CEO Mike Snow said in February.
TeamHealth acquired post-acute group IPC for $1.6 billion in November. The company expects to earn $25 million from the IPC merger this year, and a total of $60 million over the next three years.
