Casamba customers now have access to Relatient’s mobile-first solutions for patient engagement, which help streamline workflows for skilled nursing, contract therapy, home health and hospice care. Notable features include appointment reminders, patient group texts and a tool for efficient feedback management.
» Crest Healthcare Supply expanded its strategic partnership with PDi Communications Systems to market a new Telehealth Cart developed by PDi and telehealth firm Nautilus Medical. The small, rolling cart is easy to disinfect and features a hospital-grade touchscreen device with integrated camera/mic for a HIPAA-compliant solution.
» Healthcare supplier Encompass Group has released a new version of its Comfort Care incontinence underpad, which is designed to provide 20% more wicking, higher absorbency and two-thirds less moisture retention on the surface of the skin.
» Miele USA has launched Little Giants washers and dryers with short-cycle wash programs, high-temperature disinfection up to 200°F, and high-spin extraction for faster, hygienic cleaning. The large-capacity machines with improved efficiency and specialty cleaning programs were designed with senior care facilities in mind.
» Building and design firm LG Hausys America has established a flooring division for the North American market. Products include LVT [luxury vinyl tile] and commercial sheet, which is reported as ideal for commercial and residential end-use applications.
