STB Ltd., developer of a patented, resorbable wound dressing designed to stop severe bleeding in surgery, trauma and battlefield situations, has put its assets up for sale.
The company retained advisory firm Hilco Streambank to solicit and close a deal for the patent portfolio supporting the STB-FAST wound care technology platform, as well as related trademarks, trade secrets and specialized equipment used in the production of the wound care dressing product.
The U.S. Army Institute of Surgical Research hailed the STB Dressing technology as “a giant leap forward in hemorrhage control.”
