Hyland has launched OnBase Mackinac, which enables payer and provider organizations to securely exchange medical data and documentation electronically.
The system tracks delivery and receipt and facilitates collaboration to reduce costs, the company said. OnBase Mackinac routes the “right information to the right person at the right time,” it added, noting that it can eliminate duplicate communication.
The sender and receiver evenly split a per-transaction fee. OnBase 15 existing customers will have immediate access to OnBase Mackinac, while those interested also can purchase the product through Hyland’s partner channel or technology partners.
