HealthTap’s Health Operating System HOPES™ allows physicians patients, translators and caregivers to engage in Live Group Consults via text or voice through on any mobile device or personal computer.
The consultations are encrypted, private and HIPAA-secure. The benefits include allowing those with language barriers to receive healthcare, including looping in family members of long-term care residents, or a translator.
To add a medical translator or interpreter, the user schedules an appointment with HealthTap Prime or HealthTap Concierge. Current interpreters are available for Spanish, Cantonese (Chinese), Mandarin (Chinese), French, American Sign Language, Vietnamese, Korean, Arabic, Hindi, Punjabi, Haitian Creole, Russian, Polish, Portuguese, Cambodian, Burmese, Nepali, Amharic, Somali, Tigrinya and Urdu.
