Allscripts has chosen Vidyo and its Vidyo.io platform for virtual consultations in its FollowMyHealth® patient portal.
On-demand video visits can be launched from a patient portal workflow. Vidyo can integrate into electronic health records workflow to provide high-quality remote consultations, the company said.

Vidyo said it is being used by 40 out of 100 top healthcare systems in the United States, and it has added 50 care providers in the last fiscal year.
