TriStar Home Health and Hospice, an Indiana division of Trilogy Health Services LLC, has been sold to ViaQuest Inc. The terms were not disclosed.

The acquisition includes Vibrant Home Health Care, Care One Homecare Services, and Serenity Hospice. The 180 employees now work for ViaQuest.

Trilogy Health said it is focusing its core business and will continue to operate its senior living facilities in Indiana.

“Over the last several months, Trilogy’s board of directors has evaluated the portfolio of company assets to determine if they are appropriately aligned with long-term strategic initiatives. Because of this review, the board decided to pursue the sale of our home care and hospice operations to better correlate assets with long-term goals and objectives. We appreciate the support and service that the Vibrant, Care One and Serenity staff have provided to our residents and to our Trilogy team,” said Randall Bufford, president and CEO of Trilogy.

ViaQuest Home Health and Hospice serves western Pennsylvania and major metropolitan areas in Ohio. Each of the Indiana companies will operate as subsidiaries of ViaQuest Home Health and Hospice.
