Tyco has formed an alliance with Ascom (US) that will establish Tyco’s SimplexGrinnell business in the United States and Tyco Integrated Fire & Security in Canada as authorized sellers of Ascom’s services.
Tyco will sell, install and service integrated solutions geared toward improved workflow, greater staff productivity, higher patient satisfaction scores (such as HCAHPS), and increased reimbursements. The companies are co-developing migration solutions.
“Tyco’s sales, installation and services infrastructure in North America and Ascom’s technologies are especially complementary considering their experience in healthcare and embedded customer base,” said Tim Whelehan, president and Chief Executive Officer for Ascom North America.
