SCA, which makes Tork® paper products, was recognized for leadership in transparency in the WWF Environmental Paper Company Index 2013.
SCA was one of 25 pulp and paper manufacturers that responded to WWF´s invitation to show “leadership in transparency and to disclose its ecological footprint.”
SCA has participated in the Index each year since it began in 2010, and is the only North American tissue producer included.
“We are delighted that over a third of the 70 globally significant players invited to participate in the WWF EPCI 2013 have taken this opportunity to disclose their sustainability performance and targets,” says Emmanuelle Neyroumande, manager of WWF International’s pulp and paper work. “This robust participation shows a real interest by the companies in working towards reducing their ecological footprint.”
