RF Technologies has introduced the restraint-free Code Alert® CA630 Wireless Fall Management Solution alarm unit, which integrates with the company’s Quick Response® Premiere Wireless Nurse Call Solution.
The CA630 alarm unit can be hung on a wheelchair, bed, or chair. If weight is removed from the chair sensor pad, or the call cord plunger is pressed, caregivers are notified immediately via an audible or silent alert at the alarm unit, as well as an alert at the central computer station.
Calls can be routed to mobile phones, pagers or LED displays with the resident’s location.
The unit can run on battery or AC power. There is adjustable volume and an auto-on feature that starts monitoring when a resident is positioned on a bed or chair pad.
Multiple pad models are available, and all are latex-free.
Providers can see the CA630 at the RF Technologies’ Booth 3117 at LeadingAge in Dallas later this month.
