A new 110,000-square-foot rehabilitation and skilled nursing facility in White Plains, NY, will be called the White Plains Institute for Rehabilitation & Healthcare, The Architectural Team, Inc. said.

The $60 million project is focused on short-term, sub-acute care and is being developed by Congress Companies for White Plains Healthcare Properties. It will have 160 skilled nursing beds, including 76 specialized rehabilitation beds, 42 Alzheimer’s secure beds, and 42 long-term care beds, the company said.

The facility will be operated by tenant EPIC Healthcare Management LLC.
