PointClickCare has said providers can use Integrated Radiology Results, allowing them to electronically receive radiology test results in an electronic health record.
Radiology results are received electronically as structured data or, depending on service provider, as PDF or a link to an external image viewer.
The new service should allow providers to see results quicker. PointClickCare collaborated with Liaison Healthcare to develop a way to let U.S. customers access radiology results from national, regional and local diagnostic testing providers.
