Pinnacle Living announced it will use a $50.6 million loan from SunTrust Bank to expand its Richmond, VA, campus.

The expansion at the 90-acre Cedarfield campus will involve dining room upgrades such as a new pub, a health and wellness center, additional parking and upgrades to outdoor gathering spaces.

The life plan community has started construction for dining. It expects to break ground on the health center in the fall.

Pinnacle Living was formerly Virginia United Methodist Homes. It operates seven senior living communities in Virginia.
