Human resources and training pro Relias has announced it will acquire the healthcare division of OnCourse Learning and its post-acute library.
OnCourse offers a comprehensive library of nursing education that will be added to the existing Relias offerings, bringing the total to more than 10,000 titles. Among the new, post-acute resources are multiple options for home care businesses.
Relias said the additional offerings will strengthen the company’s ability to help organizations reduce variation in care, lower healthcare costs and improve quality.
OnCourse also brings Relias the highly trafficked nurse.com and continuingeducation.com eCommerce websites. These will be added to Relias’ existing eCommerce offerings at reliasacademy.com.
Bertelsmann Education Group will take over the financial services/real estate educational service operated by OnCourse.
If approved this fall, the Relias acquisition will add over 500 hospital clients, and bring the total number of hospitals using Relias solutions to over 2,000.
