RxCrossroads and Advanced Care Scripts, divisions of Omnicare Specialty Care Group, were selected to provide services for patients prescribed Boehringer Ingelheim’s OFEV® capsules (nintedanib).
OFEV was recently approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration for the treatment of idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis.
The partnership will let RxCrossroads perform reimbursement and support services to assist patients, caregivers and healthcare providers accessing OFEV. Advanced Care Scripts was selected as part of the limited distribution specialty pharmacy network, and will provide clinical support and product dispensing nationwide.
