Post Acute Partners, a long-term care owner/operator based in New York City, has acquired ElderWood SeniorCare for $141.5 million.
The purchase includes nine skilled care facilities, six assisted living residents, two independent living communities and an institutional pharmacy. The 19 facilities employ more than 2,900 people and have been run by the Chur family since 1978.
Part of the transaction includes a $100,000 donation in honor of the Chur family.
Post Acute currently operates in Massachusetts, New York, Rhode Island and Pennsylvania.
