LG Electronics’ newest patient-room healthcare TVs offer providers new levels of operational savings and are designed with residents’ satisfaction in mind. The LQ630H LED TV series incorporates the firm’s Pro:Centric Applications Platform, which enables Java and Flash-based applications to run on the TV. Systems Integrators (SIs) can use this standards-based application platform to offer patient-room television interactivity that creates a more “home-like” user experience for residents. “Pro:Centric’s ability to deliver pertinent information and high-definition entertainment programming will make the resident’s experience more comfortable and informative,” said Ron Snaidauf, Vice President for LG Electronics USA’s business-to-business electronics division.
