A 398-unit continuing care retirement community is set to be built as South Bay at Mount Pleasant in South Carolina. The mixed used community, which is being constructed by an affiliate of North Carolina-based Liberty Healthcare Group.
The first phase will be completed by spring 2018, at a cost of $99.6 million. Site work was expected to start in June. It is one of close to a dozen senior living facilities planned or under construction in the Charleston area, the Post & Courier reported.
