Methodist Retirement Communities has purchased Mirador, a Corpus Christi senior living community, from Senior Quality Lifestyles Corporation.
All resident contracts will be honored, including former residents who are owed a refund. The acquisition was effective May 1, and the community is now MRC Mirador.
SQLC developed the community in 2010-2011. It filed for Chapter 11 earlier this year after exploring a sale last year, according to a letter from Chairman of the Board Scott T. Collier.
