Kisco Senior Living held a groundbreaking ceremony for The Cardinal at North Hills on Tuesday.

The Cardinal at North Hills will be Raleigh’s first licensed CCRC where residents can pay a monthly fee. No large entrance fee or purchase of an equity interest is required to become a resident.

The CCRC has independent living, assisted living, memory care and skilled nursing care. It will include a 35,000 square foot clubhouse directly connected to each residence building, offering multiple dining options. There also will be a family room, lecture room, non-denominational chapel, movie theater, art studio, a card room, and library.

A fully equipped fitness center and spa complex has an indoor pool, strength training room, Tai Chi/ yoga/ dance studio, massage room and full service salon make up the perfect day’s activities.

The Cardinal at North Hills joins Kisco’s three other existing area communities, including Abbotswood at Stonehenge, Magnolia Glen and Woodland Terrace, which total 750 homes. Virtual tours are available at www.LifeattheCardinal.com.
