LHC Group and CHRISTUS Health have finalized a partnership across Louisiana, Texas, Arkansas and Georgia, the companies announced. LHC has bought majority ownership of CHRISTUS Health’s home care and hospice services and LTACH facilities, assuming management responsibility.
CHRISTUS Health, based in Irving, TX, is a faith-based not-for-profit health system that includes five hospice programs under LHC’s auspices. In total, CHRISTUS operates more than 600 services and facilities, including long-term care facilities.
LHC Group is a national provider of post-acute care services, operating 305 home health services locations, 73 hospice locations, 11 community-based service locations and six long-term acute care hospitals.
