Friendship Haven in Fort Dodge, IA, will be opening a new stand-alone dementia support neighborhood on its campus, executives said last week.
It will have two households with 15 private apartments. The continuing care retirement community has raised $1.5 million in contributions and pledges. It has a goal of over $2 million, according to local reports.
