Inofile has announced that its cloud-based Kno2 clinical document exchange platform is available.

This is the first application available to healthcare providers that can register, proof user identifies, configure and create unlimited direct addresses owned and customized to a care organization, in under two hours, Inofile said.

This can reduce setup time and extend a platform’s capabilities across care environments, the company said. Organizations can use Kno2 to exchange patient information and remove fax technology.

“Fax doesn’t meet healthcare industry standards or demands, yet care settings still rely on this 1950s technology to exchange critical patient information every day,” said Inofile CEO Jon Elwell. “Kno2 signals healthcare’s transition beyond fax by removing common budget and technology barriers and providing several access points that every care setting can connect to, whether you use the cloud, common office devices or health information networks, including the nation’s largest, Surescripts.”

Kno2 has smart device integration and management, device-specific integration and one-touch direct message and automated ID proofing.
