Relias has announced two new clinical programs, Relias HACs and Relias Sepsis.

By offering personalized learning, the user can partake of a comprehensive assessment that evaluates knowledge and judgment, the company said. The system benchmarks scores against national averages and quantifies variation.

Relias then offers targeted and prioritized education to increase proficiency, the company said.

“Over the last 18 months we have made a considerable investment into personalized learning,” explained Relias CEO Jim Triandiflou. “Our goal is to help hospitals and health systems improve outcomes and reduce risk by elevating the performance of their clinical teams in important areas, including hospital-acquired conditions (HACs) and sepsis.”

Relias HAC program covers central-line associated bloodstream infection (CLABSI) and catheter-associated urinary tract infections (CAUTI). The sepsis tutorial addresses prevention, early identification and management of sepsis for providers.
