HealthMEDX recently announced that its pharmacy exchange is now available. The exchange helps improve patient safety by facilitating electronic communication between the physician, pharmacy and nurse through the automation of the workflow and data exchange of several key processes. These include: fill/refill requests, allergy information, therapeutic interchange, generic substitution and interaction checking.
