Three new product lines make up a bulk of Formica’s 2021 specialty collection.
Everform solid surface is a collection of eight acrylic solid surfacing designs to meet new demands from architects and designers, while the DecoMetal laminate line includes 13 new metal visuals and an updated line of laminate Woodgrains gives designers 16 new wood looks that meet macro commercial design trends in nature and natural materials.
Everform solid surface highlights include:
- Designs inspired by trending patterns such as terrazzo, micropattern and soft, ethereal looks
- An acrylic surface made from natural mineral fiber and binding resins with color all the way through to its core. The product was previously known as Formica Solid Surfacing.
DecoMetal highlights include:
- A balanced collection with trending warm tones in brass, copper, light gold and black to provide a full-spectrum metal surface toolbox for designers
- A complete line with 37 usable metal designs for a variety of commercial settings
- Printed solid metals, a new component that features solid metal aluminum sheets artistically printed with visuals enhanced by a metal sheen base.
Laminate Woodgrains highlights include:
- Sixteen new patterns grouped into seven series: Elm, ashwood, cherry, modern oak, modern walnut, traditional walnut and casual woods
- The product can be applied horizontally or vertically
- Material costs range from $1.50 to $2.00 per square foot.
