Corstrata has announced it will sponsor the nation’s first Post-Acute Care Wound Nurse Excellence Award.

The award is part of a new annual program sponsored by Corstrata “designed to recognize and honor the individual contributions of wound care nurses for their knowledge and expertise in providing exceptional patient care using evidence-based best practices to accelerate patient wound healing, improve patient outcomes and instill excellence in his/her overall practice of wound management,” the company said.

The award is open to all nurses working in post-acute care settings.
