Jeron Electronic Systems Inc. said it has made enhancements to its Provider Nurse Call “PC Console” LAN-based real-time activity display.

This includes displaying activities and events on a Windows-based computer that can show patient and staff calls, workflow, bed status, service requests and staff locations.

The design of the PC Console application option has no limitations on the number of concurrent users, the company said.

One common application for the PC Console with call tones is to select Code Blue call annunciation at a central location, such as the telephone operator’s area. Over a large screen display, any active Code Blue calls display at the large PC Console display (room number or room description), indicate how long the call(s) have been active, and sound code blue tones, the company said.
