Elmcroft Senior Living has announced that it will install Cerner Corp.’s CareTracker at its 85 assisted living facilities.

Elmcroft has been working with Cerner to adapt CareTracker into assisted living. It will help it adapt to a market with higher levels of acuity for assisted living, the provider said. CareTracker for Assisted Living lets Elmcroft eliminate paper-based forms and improve accuracy.

Elmcroft has put CareTracker into six pilot sites and started a rollout to the rest of its facilities, which is expected to be completed over the next several years.

“Our primary goal is to find a way to apply the benefits of technology to the traditional assisted living model while promoting resident centered care and partnership with the hands-on caregiver,” said Kimberly Severns-Jones, Director of Quality Outcomes for Elmcroft.

Elmcroft has its headquarters in Louisville and has communities through 19 states.
